work is just as busy as always.

   last Wednesday through this past Monday, we were short one employee (Covid). last Friday another went home sick. so we were back to our original staffing. today everyone is here. *phew*

most of our new fishies died, including our original o.g. guppy. R caught the darios on film attacking each fish. so no more mollies, half the goldfish are gone, and no more guppy 😢  so, we’ll set up another aquarium (we have 2 empties) and get more fishies and some plants. I’m planning to put a spider plant and porthos to start. I can cut a baby from my existing plants. 

my diet restrictions aren’t giving any success. I cut out sugar almost 15 weeks ago, and no carbs for 3-1/2 weeks. I’ve started having protein shakes. so hope that doesn’t make me gain. 

I’m doing a 5k run mid October. I’m so out of shape that will be fun. but I’ll run as much as I can instead of just walking it all. 

Charlie got his bath and is still slightly itchy. but I think he’s at the end of whatever he’s having. Gwen and Dude have started itching but they are way long overdue for their baths. 

I keep wishing to get more chickens but it’s late in the season now so I’d have to get teenagers or adults and set them up in the shed for awhile. possibly go to a shelter, but it’s never a “close” shelter that has them. 🙄

money is going well but I’m still restricting. because if I spend it, then something goes wrong and I’ll need it. 

I was trying to feed a new stray feral (orange) but it just attracted mice/rats. have a tray of goodies on top deck hoping to attract ravens. I see nobody but they’re disappearing. hope it’s not more mice/rats 🤨
