excuses. excuses.

    I tried to write a post on Monday and had no cell reception for internet. last week was a short week from the holiday but it didn’t go any faster than normal. every day is busy busy. it was our first week without the other vet. we still had many back to back appts with no downtime to breathe. any file prep or faxing or record-sending had to be done AFTER 6pm. so long days from here on out. 

Today one girl went home early so we’re back to short-staffing and boy does it show! and the good doctor is on my case today. I had to fight back tears in the morning. we have back to back appts and things run behind and can’t find an extra hand when you need it. 

R and i had planned to go to “spooners cove” Tuesday but his friend had to work early the next day so couldn’t be out “late” in the day. spooners cove is just as far as Morro Bay was.. so we really kind of regretted doing a trip like that again anyway. I did my Avon stuff that day anyway since last weekend (I was off work Sunday only) went much too quickly. 

I’m just trying to get through today for another weekend. during which I’ll sleep and sleep and sleep. I need to bathe Charlie Buckets because he’s getting really itchy. I keep putting it off. yesterday we were off the hill for groceries and fish. I was tired after that. I didn’t even bathe myself
