sleepy. I was awake at 4.. and 5.. and 6.. and 7..

he had 2 classes today.. one class at 9, and one at 5 in the afternoon.
tomorrow he was going to drive to Simi to visit his dad he hasn't seen in 34 years, and to visit a friend from elementary school.. but it's a far trip in hot hot climates..
he would take my car, so I would drive the big clunky stinky truck
joking.. I like that truck.. but it is big, and clunky, and stinky.
I am however very frustrated because I paid the tags on it 7/28 and we still haven't gotten the sticker for the plate.. that's just mildly frustrating. I'll have to figure out how to prove that to an officer if I get pulled over. for the time being, I'll print out "proof" of payment completed 7/28, 

we started the day with 8 morning appointments and 5 afternoon appointments. 
it turned into 9 morning appointments (including 1 euthanasia) and 6 afternoon appointments (including 1 who didn't show..)  1 cancelled appointment was replaced by an admit.. then another cancelled appointment was replaced by another pet from the family of the admit..

Gwen is officially in heat.. first day bleeding. her spay surgery is in 11 days.

another fire started today.. about 60 miles away. 1,100 acres, but 0% contained.
the one that started last wednesday is 63 miles away.. now at 19,026 acres, and 38% contained.

tomorrow is another fun-filled day of 6 morning appointments and 4 afternoon appointments.. i'll see how that turns out..
