aww.. the weekend. it was very odd that during my week off of work, I was up early every morning.. then my first day back at work, I had the hardest time waking up.. same with my second day back at work. 
today same.. since my 2 days at work "erased" my 5 days at home. 
I was lying in bed thinking I should probably get up and feed the furries before he had to start teaching. then the phone rang.. yep, so much for sleeping. 
I am guessing his family was having a get-together with pops in town. I overheard something about "I have classes I can't abandon"
a) not exactly in the mood to go.. and
b) he has his classes he's teaching.. and, well, not giving up now. momentum just started. 
I fed both kitties.. watered doggies and kitties. 
Later, I saw his sister had posted a pic on Facebook of both mom and dad eating out at Santa Susana Café. I guess that is what the phone call this morning was about. 

I watched Eleanor Rigby (2013) during his classes. It didn't quite keep my attention so I started working on my bird bath. It's not as "gorgeously awesome" as I would have liked, but it's still a work in progress. I just need to figure out how to connect the top to the bottom (and get it to stay there..). The top is smaller than I was picturing, so.. it might just be temporary.. I'll see what else I can find. At the other thrift store I had found a metal charger but I try to avoid that thrift store because they are pricier. But, that metal charger was exactly what I was looking for. I should have grabbed it when I had the chance. I'll keep looking.

Then I watched The Bell Witch Haunting (2013) that definitely kept my attention. What creeped me out even more was.. while I had Charlie on my lap, he kept staring at the wall next to the fireplace..
yeah, thanks.. way to get me spooked.

Work messaged me again.. a girl from work messaged me.. she might have been exposed to Covid last weekend so they needed someone to cover on Monday. really?! 
a) I got my schedule and I made plans around that..
b) if she got exposed last weekend then she exposed all of us last week..
so I'm not going to work. too bad. too late. i'm starting to make plans these days so work can't ruin my life. work is NOT my whole life.
