August 6th

Today is my last day home 😳
I accomplished nothing this whole week.. well, a lot of laziness and resting. I work Friday and Saturday. And then I'm home Sunday. Possibly back to work Monday to continue the chaos from now on. 

Wish we could have had the week away that we were thinking of.. But wouldn't want to change the fact that Ronnie got all these students! That is great for him. Without this week, he wouldn't have the momentum. I hope his classwork continues on. 😊

Yesterday I found a fish supplier (goldfish) in Lockwood Valley.. not too far from me. He messaged me his number to call. Today, he contacted me at 8:45 asking if I was still interested.. uh, yes.. give me time.. gees..

I'm using my housekeeping skills on my LAST day of "vacation". I've been doing an awesome job of keeping the kitchen clean all week.. but the rest of the house is still a tornado. So today I attempted to work on that. I wanted to try to "quietly" clean up around here since I procrastinated so so very much.

It has been crazy with wildfires these days.. There is currently a wildfire on the grapevine (Southbound I-5). That is almost 10 miles west of my house. The wind turned and you would think the fire was near our backyard.. hazy sky, smell of forest fire.. 

At the break between classes in the afternoon, we went to the market for monthly groceries. Then during class, I watched THE RUBY RING (1997) But we interrupted the movie to have a Skype conversation to Simi with Ronnie's childhood friend (1 hour and 25 minutes!) Then came PAULIE (1998) with turkey, salami, and applewood ham quesadillas for dinner. 💗
