okay, today were Ronnie's 4 classes. 

1 student at 8:30-9:00 & 1 student at 9:00-9:45 I watched KID COLTER (1985)

then 1 student at 4:30-5:00 & 1 student at 5:00-5:45 I watched GREYFRIARS BOBBY (2005)

we had a leak in the greenhouse hydroponics. we have a foam insulation panel in a water bin on top of a water bin.. a label fell off the foam insulation and clogged the drain from one bin into another bin. so the top bin overflowed. thankfully we have drainage in the greenhouse that drains to the dirt outside. so we just had to clear the clog and refill the bottom bin. easy fix but wish we had caught it sooner than we did.

.. next was a Jodie Foster movie from 1977

.. then came BEYOND BEYOND (2014)

a few of our chickens have been broody. one bitty, Lavender, I let be broody for awhile because she wasn't mean about it. but if they are broody, they don't lay. 

SO, out she went Sunday. 

every day I have to kick her out. 

and she still steals the eggs so I have to "steal" them back. 

but we only get maybe 2-4 eggs a day... from 9 chickens. 

they aren't molting so we should be getting close to 9 eggs a day.
I had planned to sell what we got. can't do that if we barely get enough for ourselves to eat.

they will be slowing down in winter so now's as good a time as any to be laying

I need a hobby. once i'm back at work next week (technically the end of this week) i won't have the time to come up with one. so i need to start one now. 

the hydroponics isn't really my hobby. i just help. i have no green thumb. not even a brown thumb.

i had hoped that sewing would be my hobby.. but even that is "iffy"

tried dog first aid kits.. that fizzled

baby onesies.. that fizzled

tried eBay -- nobody is buying any 😒

Ronnie shoveled out the ragweed in front, while I pet Mr Grey.
we found out that the neighbor had brought us some bbq food a while back when he had a party.

bummed we missed out. we gave him some eggs to be neighborly. 

he's a quiet guy but he looks out for us, as we look out for him as well.

tomorrow we go grocery shopping.. groceries can only last so long
