August 26th

Sleepy day.
Ronnie had a few classes and I didn't really want to do much all day long. Gwen has her spay on Friday and it can't come soon enough. she's at the point of her heat that Dude is becoming very persistent, and she is becoming very slutty. I spent class time keeping them separated and watching movies. I wanted nothing more than to nap 'forever'. I did take a 2-1/2 hour nap while he was out of class but I would have slept more if I could have.
I kept thinking I had to get out cash for Gwen's spay but I never left the house (story of my life!)
they even called to confirm so I knew how much I'd need to get out.. but I thought about it all day..
"I need to go"..
"I should go soon"..
"I need to go soon".. 
it never happened..

last night, I was busy keeping the "happy humpers" in line.. they woke me up multiple times in the night.. either on the bed or in the hallway. I still knew and had to beat their butts. I got about 6 hours of sleep and it was not enough.. 

during his 1st class I had a bad dream. I was walking for my car across the street, to the house.. and a motorcycle came out of nowhere preventing me from just walking right through.. he rode past and I ran up the driveway.. by the time he'd come round again I was hiding on the porch with Mr Grey. Every time I'd try to unlock the front door, he was driving past again. eventually he turned into a dodge 2500 truck.. i couldn't get my keys fast enough so i'd have to keep hiding and hiding.. and I'd try to see the license plate and it was just a blank white plate (no state.. no number).. and when I came in the house, Ronnie had been napping on the couch and jumped up to give me a big hug.  then I woke up.
I think it had to do with our issues we've been having. twice now, someone has siphoned our gas and stolen the gas cap -- the 2nd time, they had stolen our new locking gas cap. so now i bought another one.. hopefully this one will work out better for us (and not for them)


I was really stressing about family in Texas. my family is so sprawled out, and I don't know where they live (I don't even know half of them) but one cousin has been keeping us all informed. Hurricane Laura made landfall on Wednesday afternoon. I know she had been forecast as a Cat 2, but was upgraded to a Cat 4. but she had not yet reached shore at that point. by this afternoon, she had.. 
I'm happy to say all my cousins and aunts and uncles stayed safe. a few had evacuated, a couple had not. my aunt needs to find a new place to live because she needs assisted living, and many facilities are closed.. she moved in with my cousin (one of her sons) for the time being, until a place can be set up for her.
