dreams.. oh dreams..

I was in Papua.. it was specifically not New Guinea, but you coulda fooled me.. the people seemed Guinea-ish, and it was a foreign dialect to me.. 

I was there with Ronnie but he was leaving shortly.. so we were hanging out together before his flight. I remember wondering how I would commute with anyone without him there.. like such a thing would make a difference whether he was there or not. it was kind of dusk, and everything was an orangeish color.. there was also a set of picnic tables like you'd see at Rancho Park or Corriganville.

first appt was for 2 newfiedoodles.. 

one huge but friendly.. 

the other smaller but always suspicious and growly and wiggly.. lab pulls on both.. then an exam for the small..

next I worked on pawprint cards.. once done, I grabbed a ShihTzu for lab pull and Adequan injection.. 

I checked out another client with an AmStaff Aussie, and Mastiff Lab..

then checked out the owner of the ShihTzu..

back into the office to start emptying deliveries - as those block the handicapable entrance.

we got a tabby kitty in for a blood pressure.. he had come in last week as his ophtho wasn't able to get a bp so he couldn't put him on any meds..

LuNcH BrEaK!!  chicken rice bowl with refried beans, guacamole and sour cream.
I have a lingering headache today 😕

once back from lunch, I handled a kitty for an exam.. a large kitty.. 19lbs + 😬

then I helped with 2 dogs for anal expressions. the puppy was VERY fearful, the new dog not so much..

next was a Dobie for urinalysis..

then a pit mix for an exam - she was growly when I tried to check her elbows.. 1 checked one, mom helped with the other.. and mom showed me her teeth..

next I held a terrier mix for a vaccine..

I held a ShihTzu for a vaccine..

I helped hold the growly pit mix for blood work..

THEN I sorted through fax claim forms.. and pulled files for Wednesdays appointments.. 

just slightly more than a 12-hour day..
