2 days before Christmas, and 3 years as a home-owner.
we have 10 chickens, 2 dogs since moving here.

we had 1 dog, 2 cats, and 1 bird when we moved. we lost a cat within the first week.. we added puppy 1.. 6 months later, we added (& lost)  puppy 2. a few months later we added 4 chicks, lost 1 chick. a month later, added 4 more chicks. after 6 months, we lost our old dog. but 2 days later, added puppy 3. this past summer, we added 6 chicks, although we lost 3. just 2 weeks ago, we added 1 more chicken. my ,my, my...

last December 27th, the 4x4 truck died.. or, got sick. it's still sick. many repairs, but light still remains.  we use it for trash runs.. and more recently.. for a new water heater.. :/ the plan was to use the water heater money for a mechanic.. oh well.. there's always January. because, hey, the tags are already 5 months overdue -- what's 1 more month, right?!
